Dr Marcus Mueller Professor of Management at Sacred Heart University

Dr Marcus Mueller received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Saarbruecken, a Diploma in Business Administration from Manchester Business School, an MBA from Melbourne Business School, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia.Prior to his full-time appointment at Sacred Heart University, he worked for 16 years in the finance industry in fields such as strategy, mergers and acquisitions, principal investments, and private equity for companies such as Arthur Andersen, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and Fortress Investments. As a professor in the Department of Management at Sacred Heart University Luxembourg, Dr. Mueller is teaching courses in leadership, organizational behaviour, negotiations, and management. His recent scientific work has a particular focus on the psychology of senior executives. He recently founded ACT-SMART, the Academic Centre for Senior Management Research and Training. ACT-SMART’s mission is to collaborate with organizational researchers and industry globally aiming at the development and implementation of new approaches for senior executives to succeed and excel at the personal level as well as in the organizational context.

Robert Krier Data Scientist and Analytics Expert

After receiving his Master of Environmental Science in Hydrology from University of Freiburg, Germany, Robert Krier was doing research in natural science for four years at the Public Research Centre - Gabriel Lippmann in Luxembourg. With a strong background in analytical, statistical and numerical programming experiences, Robert moved to the financial and business sector using his in-depth data mining, statistical and numerical programming skills to engage the exciting world of business intelligence. Since 2013 Robert also holds a Welch Master of Business Administration from Sacred Heart University Luxembourg.
